Christmas Eve Service Update

Greetings in the Name of Jesus Christ!

I am writing this morning to provide an update on our Christmas Eve Service.  Unfortunately, the weather is forecasted to rain throughout the day and early evening as a cold front enters our area.  Therefore, we will be unable to have our service outdoors in the parking lot, as originally planned.  Our service will now be held indoors in our sanctuary at 6:30 P.M.

For those of you who are worshiping with us at home during this pandemic, our Christmas Eve service will be available to stream tomorrow evening.  I would invite you to have a candle and communion elements with you, as we will still celebrate these two events.

For those of you who are still planning to worship with us in-person, be aware that our pandemic protocols, as guided by the Annual Conference, are still in place.  Masks will be required and seating will be reduced from our normal capacity to allow for the social distancing of family groups in our sanctuary.

Wherever you worship, whether online or in-person, we will celebrate the birth of the Messiah through the singing of carols, the hearing of the word, and the celebration of the sacrament of Holy Communion.  I hope that you will make time to join us.

As we prepare to enter the Christmas Season, may you once again experience the awe and wonder of the little child who has come to offer God’s love and grace to a lost and hurting world.

In Christ,

Pastor Chris
